The mission and impact of STY House are deeply rooted in the experiences of our founder, Lewis Simon, during his youth hockey career. After suffering multiple concussions, a final injury in his third year of junior hockey forced Lewis to retire from the sport. As a result, he now lives with POTS Syndrome and has become a dedicated advocate for head safety in youth sports.
Undeterred by this setback, Lewis pursued higher education at Northwestern University. While studying in Chicago, he developed the STY House brand and launched his coaching career. Along with overseeing the apparel side of STY House, Lewis founded STY House Sports Camp and STY House Hockey. He also serves as the youth director and head coach for two teams at the Chicago Reapers AAA Hockey organization.
Upon graduating from Northwestern University, he continues to expand the STY House brand and contribute to the Reapers. Lewis has taken on a full- time role at Wasserman Hockey, an agency representing top NHL talent.
